A hybrid UAV with a mechanically linked gas engine to the rotors offers superior performance over an electric-only UAV. This design harnesses the reliability and power of a gas engine, providing extended flight durations, greater payload capabilities, and enhanced operational flexibility. The mechanical linkage ensures efficient power delivery, optimizing overall performance for diverse mission needs.

Gas engines provide higher power-to-weight ratios, enabling greater payload capacities and enhanced performance in challenging environmental conditions. Additionally, refueling is quicker than recharging batteries, reducing downtime and increasing mission efficiency.

A hybrid engine combines the strengths of both gas and electric propulsion systems, introducing a versatile and innovative concept to unmanned aviation. This dual-system approach maximizes efficiency, extends operational range, and adapts to diverse mission requirements, setting new standards for performance, flexibility, and sustainability in UAV technology.
